Terms of service

1. Who we are

FlowPilot ("the service") is operated by Imhauser Technologies LLC, McLean, Virginia, United States. Contact: info@imhauser.net.

2. The service

FlowPilot lets an organization define a project once as a template, plan it many times from a reference date, and keep the people involved ("stakeholders") informed by email, on a personal read-only page and through calendar subscriptions. During the public beta the service is free and limited to one user per organization, one project template, 10 iterations, 100 stakeholders, 200 activity definitions and 200 emails a day.

The beta is provided as it is. Features and limits may change, and we will say so in the app or by email before a change that affects you.

3. Your account

  • You create one account for your organization and must keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • You use FlowPilot for professional purposes, and the information you give when signing up must be accurate.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone (see the privacy policy).

4. Your stakeholders and their data

  • You decide which stakeholders to add and what FlowPilot tells them. For their data (name, email address, roles) you are the controller and we act as your processor under the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
  • You must have a lawful basis to give us their data and to have them notified, and you must tell them how their data is used.
  • Stakeholders see the whole iteration they take part in, including the names of the other stakeholders in it (never their email addresses). Tell them this.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link, and FlowPilot respects it. Personal links can be reset at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use FlowPilot to send unsolicited messages, to contact people who have no part in your projects, to store content that is unlawful, or to attempt to access data of other organizations or to disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after notice where possible.

6. Availability and liability

We run FlowPilot with care but cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Calendar apps refresh subscriptions on their own schedule, and email delivery depends on the recipient's provider. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to direct damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. We will announce material changes at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use FlowPilot after that means you accept them. You can stop at any time by deleting your account. If we end the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice.
